Lawn Mowing Service: Mow front back and side yard with lawn mower. String trim around trees, beds, fences. Please protect trees with wrap as they may be damaged during string trimming. Edge/trim along sidewalk areas weekly. Blow driveway, porch and walkways clean. Fertilizing: We offer a professional-quality Fertilizer Program. This will keep your yard green and full during the season. Colorado does not have an excellent growing climate due to the arid conditions and intense sun at altitude. Lawns often need "feeding" to stimulate new growth. Mowing Day and Time: We work Monday thru Friday, and reserve the right to work Saturdays & Sundays due to holidays, weather delays, or equipment delays. We are in certain areas on certain days, so you will be assigned a specific mowing day. We follow the same route every week, so you will notice we arrive about the same time each week. However, as we add customers, it may change, so we cannot guarantee a time of day. Watering: Wet grass is very hard to mow. Please do not water your lawn on the morning of your scheduled mowing day. If you are scheduled to have Tuesdays as a mowing day, for example, do not have the water set to go on Tuesday morning. We also suggest not watering the day before your scheduled mowing. Mowing Season: The growing and mowing season is typically from April and ends the last week in October. Our weekly mowing service is a general agreement between the customer and Motycka Lawns to provide service for the length of the season. The exceptions would be real estate sale, illness or vacation mows. You may cancel service at any time. Holidays: One of our top priorities is to show up on the designated mowing day. Each crew gets to decide if they would like to work the day of the holiday. Therefore some of us will be working during a holiday. Generally we are a day behind when a holiday occurs during the week. Items in the Grass: Please do not leave animal waste in the yard! Toys, hoses, pots, tents, bikes, skateboards and an assortment of other items are often left in the grass, assuming we will move them. We are there to mow and trim, so please have your yard clean. For large items such as trampolines, plastic swings, etc. we will move if you agree not to hold us responsible for damaging them because many are weathered & easy to break. Lawn technicians try to keep gates closed during and after the service, but we recommend having your pet indoors on your mowing days and are not responsible for missing pets. Rain: As you are probably aware, we often get thunderstorms in Colorado in the afternoons. If we get rained out, we generally make up the mowing the next day. If we get rained out early in the week we are usually a day behind schedule for the entire week. Weekends are our make up days. Bi-Weekly Mows: Occasionally, we are asked to mow a yard every other week. In general, a yard should be mowed every week to allow new grass to come in underneath, giving the yard the full green look we are accustomed to. If the lawn isn't ready to mow every week, it probably is lacking nutrients or water. Our professional Green Fertilization service will solve that. Bi-weekly mowings are subject to a 1.5x charge of the regular weekly rate due to the extra time it takes our crews to service them. Sprinkler Heads: If we damaged a sprinkler head we will fix it free of charge. If the sprinkler system is installed properly this problem will not occur. The most common problem is that the head sets too high off the ground. Other Services: We are basically a "Lawn Service" provider. We provide weekly lawn mowing, fertilizing, aeration, weed control in the rock beds, gutter cleaning, leaf/property cleanups and sprinkler turn-ons/repairs/blow-outs for customers in the North Denver Metro/Boulder/Northern Colorado markets that want to have a professional mowing service due to lack of time; in-ability to mow; lack of proper equipment; house for sale, etc. We do not generally offer "gardening" or landscape type services such as tree trimming, planting shrubs, re-seeding grass, sod installation, fountains, etc. – as we concentrate in providing a professional looking and maintained lawn. However, we would be happy quote any such work and refer you to any other service provider you may be interested in should we not be able to handle the job/project. Referrals: Our business is built on dependability and reliability. The biggest complaint we hear from prospective customers is about other companies not showing up to do the work. We have been doing this for over 15 years and have gained a reputation for reliability and dependability. If you know of a friend or neighbor who might need our service, please give them our name and number. If that person signs up for weekly mowings, we will give you one FREE MOWING. Automatic Renewal: All services (including lawn mowing, fertilization, aeration, pre-emergent and weed control in the borders) are automatically renewed each season unless you contact us and cancel. Only the services you had the previous season will be renewed automatically. If you want additional services you must contact Emil's Lawns and schedule the additional services. Cancellations: We generally service customers throughout the entire lawn-mowing season, which ends the last week of October. If needed, you may cancel at anytime. Payment: All services are billed on a credit/debit card. Notifications & Receipts will be sent before/after payment respectfully. Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date (e.g. due to expired credit card) shall be subject to all collection fees plus attorney fees, if necessary.
